Decided to change my website into a blog format. This will show more of a time line of things going on and visitors will be able to leave comments.
All the info that already existed can now be found on the pages, listed in the sidebar to the right.
I hope this format will give a clearer view of the activity (or inactivity) going on during retirement in laid-back Thailand.
Back from our trip to Mae Sot. We planned to go for one night, but ended up being there for one week instead. We stayed at a deserted resort (Ruen USA Resort), 7 km north of Mae Sot, where only our friends Dr. Tom and his wife, Oye, permanently live. We took the room next to them and had the whole place to the four of us.
To be revisited during the month of July.

We went fishing in January and February 2008 and ended up catching a sail fish of over 2 meters during the January trip.
Here you will find the pictures.
In October we made a trip by car to Mae Hong Son province (near Myanmar) and the Isan provinces (along the Mekong river).
